PADI Advanced Open Water Course
DESCRIPTION:
After Open Water the next step is Advanced Open Water. This course is self-study with five supervised dives. These dives include compass and natural navigation, deep, and three elective dives.
LOCATION (S):
The class meets Saturday at MSC. From there we will travel to various dive sites in Illinois and Indiana. This is not just to keep the dives more interesting but also to introduce local diving areas that are less than 4 hours from Champaign. Transportation is not provided (we suggest car pooling). On Sunday we will finish our last two dives at Kickapoo.
REQUIREMENTS:
PADI Open Water Diver Certification
ACADEMIC MATERIALS:
Adventures in Diving crewpack.
EQUIPMENT:
Basic equipment (mask, fins, snorkel) to be provided by the student. Other equipment will be provided by Midwest SCUBA Center.
CERTIFICATION:
PADI Advanced Open Water Certification
NOTES:
All of our advanced programs are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday we will meet at Midwest Scuba Center.
