Emergency First Response courses combine adult, children and infant CPR and first aid skills, and have the option of including Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and emergency oxygen use. They can be taught together, as stand alone courses or in any combination. We can customize our course delivery to meet your timing and training needs.
Our courses are OSHA Guidelines 29 CFR 1910.151 compliant and meet standards for the workplace safety at local, regional and national levels. Courses follow ECC Guidelines 2005 for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and the emergency cardiovascular care standards set by the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR.)
PRIMARY CARE (CPR) COURSE:
This course teaches you to respond to life-threatening emergencies, and gives you confidence in your ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Some of the skills you'll learn in class include scene safety assessment, communicable disease protection, CPR, obstructed airway, serious bleeding, shock and spinal injury management. Optional skills are AED training and emergency oxygen administration.
SECONDARY CARE (FIRST AID) COURSE:
This course covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening. In this course you’ll learn injury assessment, illness assessment, bandaging and splinting.
CARE FOR CHILDREN:
This course includes both CPR and first aid skills. The primary care portion of the course prepares you to render aid to an infant or child with life-threatening emergency such as choking or cardiac arrest. Secondary care focuses on developing secondary patient care skills and building your confidence to give first aid to an infant or child in need. Children course content is based on guideline from Pediatric Working Group of ILCOR.

Diving Alert Network (DAN) Oxygen Course
Providing oxygen first aid to an injured diver before the arrival of professional medical care is one of the most important measures taken when a dive injury occurs. This course will teach the steps. Course fee includes manual and certification $55.00
Diving Alert Network Automated External Defibrillators (AED)
You don't need a lot of special training to operate an AED. Automated External Defibrillators analyze the heart's rhythm while telling the operator what to do and whether a shock is needed. Must be current in CPR to take this course. Course fee includes manual and certification. $55.00
